報(bào)告人： 吳強(qiáng)博士,， 現(xiàn)任職：美國中田納西州立大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系助理教授,。 2005年畢業(yè)于香港城市大學(xué)數(shù)學(xué)系， 獲博士學(xué)位,， 2008年美國杜克大學(xué)博士后,。 先后任職于美國密歇根州立大學(xué),、英國利物浦大學(xué)。
主要研究領(lǐng)域：調(diào)和分析,、統(tǒng)計(jì)模型與計(jì)算,、機(jī)器學(xué)習(xí)、高維數(shù)據(jù)挖掘與應(yīng)用,。
學(xué)術(shù)成就： 在Journal of Machine Learning Research, Applied and Computational Harmonic
Analysis等高水平學(xué)術(shù)期刊發(fā)表論文30余篇,。特別在學(xué)習(xí)理論中的分類學(xué)習(xí)、正則化回歸學(xué)習(xí)等方面,，完成了一些標(biāo)志性的成果,， 受到國內(nèi)外同行的廣泛關(guān)注,。
