“Rough集研究進(jìn)展”學(xué)術(shù)研討會(huì)（濟(jì)南）
Rough集理論是處理不協(xié)調(diào),、不確定信息的有力的數(shù)學(xué)工具。自1982年由波蘭數(shù)學(xué)家Zdzislaw Pawlak教授提出以來，該理論引起了
國內(nèi)外專家學(xué)者的廣泛關(guān)注,，在諸多領(lǐng)域獲得了成功的應(yīng)用。
為了更好地了解Rough集研究的最新動(dòng)向,，交流當(dāng)今Rough集研究的熱點(diǎn)問題,，定于2013年7月25日-7月26日在濟(jì)南大學(xué)召開“Rough
集研究進(jìn)展”學(xué)術(shù)研討會(huì)（濟(jì)南）。本次研討會(huì)特邀請(qǐng)加拿大里賈納大學(xué)YiYu Yao教授,、國內(nèi)高校,，特別是山東省內(nèi)高校粗糙集與粒計(jì)
算研究領(lǐng)域的專家學(xué)者做精彩報(bào)告，圍繞粗糙集,、粒計(jì)算,、三支決策等問題展開深入研討。
本次“Rough集研究進(jìn)展”學(xué)術(shù)研討會(huì)（濟(jì)南）主要分為兩個(gè)階段：
1.YiYu Yao教授特邀學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告,；
2.各位參會(huì)專家學(xué)者報(bào)告,、交流自己的最新研究進(jìn)展。

Granular Computing and Sequential Three-Way Decisions
Abstract:
Real-world decision-making typically involves the three options of acceptance, rejection and non-commitment. Three-way
decisions can be motivated, interpreted and implemented based on the notion of information granularity. With coarse-
grained granules, it may only be possible to make a definite decision of acceptance or rejection for some objects. A
lack of detailed information may make a definite decision impossible for some other objects, and hence the third non-
commitment option is used. Objects with a non-commitment decision may be further investigated by using fine-grained
granules. In this way, multiple levels of granularity lead naturally to sequential three-way decisions.
YiYu Yao教授個(gè)人簡(jiǎn)介：
Yiyu Yao is a professor of computer science in the Department of Computer Science, University of Regina, Regina,
Saskatchewan, Canada. His research interests include information retrieval, rough sets, interval sets, three-way
decisions, granular computing, Web intelligence, data mining and fuzzy sets. His over 300 publications cover various
topics on the foundations of data mining, modelling information retrieval system based on user preferences,
information retrieval support systems, triarchic theory of granular computing, generalized rough sets and many more.
He is an area editor of International Journal of Approximate Reasoning, an associate editor of Information Sciences, a
member of the editorial boards of the Web Intelligence and Agent Systems, LNCS Transactions on Rough Sets, Journal of
Intelligent Information Systems, Journal of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunication, and several more. He
has served and is serving as a program co-chair of several international conferences.
